Depending on the material of the sealing surface of the globe valve, the globe valve can be sealed with both metal and non-metallic seals. When using metal seals and non-metallic seals, not only the specific pressure of the seal needs to be high, but also the surrounding area needs to be uniform to achieve the required tightness. According to the above requirements, there are various structural designs of the sealing surface, and the sealing principle and sealing force calculation are not the same.
There are many types of globe valves, and there are many ways to classify them. (2) Classified according to the material of the sealing surface 1. Non-metallic sealing material globe valve: A: Soft seal globe valve: globe valve with polytetrafluoroethylene, rubber, nylon, para-polyphenylene, flexible graphite and other soft materials for sealing surface materials.
DC type globe valve: The valve stem and the passage are at a certain angle of the globe valve, the valve seat sealing surface and the inlet and outlet channel have a certain angle, the valve body can be made into a whole, can also be made into a body type, as shown in Figure 5. The split globe valve with two valve bodies clamps the valve seat in the middle, which is easy to manufacture and easy to maintain.
There are many types of globe valves, and there are many ways to classify them.(1) Classification according to structural type 1. Upper thread stem globe valve. This type of globe valve is more commonly used. Its stem thread is outside the shell, not in direct contact with the working medium.
