The working principle of the strainer is to be installed at the inlet of the equipment to remove impurities in the medium to protect the valve. The correct installation method is horizontal installation or vertical downward installation.

After the globe valve is installed, it must be in the fully open position during pressure test of the system and pipelines, and shall not be used for flow adjustment or emergency discharge.

Before installation, carefully check whether the mark of the globe valve is consistent with the use requirements, and pay attention to the direction of the medium flow can only be consistent with the direction indicated by the arrow on the valve body.

The globe valve refers to the valve whose closing part (disc) moves along the center line of the valve seat. According to this movement form of the valve disc, the change of the valve seat port is proportional to the valve disc stroke. Because the opening or closing stroke of the valve stem of this kind of valve is relatively short, and it has a very reliable cut-off function, and because the change of the valve seat port is proportional to the stroke of the valve disc, it is very suitable for flow adjustment. Therefore, this type of valve is very suitable for use as a cut-off or adjustment and throttling.

According to the direction of the channel, the globe valve can be divided into: Straight-through globe valve; Direct flow globe valve; Angle globe valve; Plunger type globe valve.
