1. Inlet and outlet diameter:

Determine the pressure rating of the strainer according to the highest possible pressure in the strainer line.
3. Selection of the number of mesh:

4. Strainer material:
The material of the strainer is generally the same as the material of the connected process pipeline. For different service conditions, the strainer of cast iron, carbon steel, alloy steel or stainless steel can be considered.

For water strainers, under the general calculation of rated flow rate, the pressure loss is 0.52 ~ 1.2Kpa.
