Air valve installation precautions

1. The air valve must be installed vertically, that is, the internal float must be in a vertical state, so as not to affect the exhaust.

2. When installing the air valve, it is best to install it together with the blocking valve(gate valve or ball valve), so that when the air valve needs to be removed for maintenance, it can ensure that the system is airtight and water does not flow out.

3. Air valves are generally installed in the pipelines where the system is easy to collect gas, such as the highest point of the system and the highest point of a section of pipeline, which is conducive to smooth exhaust. When there is gas overflow in the system, the gas will climb up the pipeline and finally gather at the highest point of the system. The air valve is generally installed at the highest point of the system. When the gas enters the air valve cavity, it will gather at the highest point of the air valve. On the upper part, as the gas in the valve increases, the pressure rises. When the gas pressure is greater than the system pressure, the gas will drop the water level in the cavity, and the float will drop with the water level, opening the exhaust port.
